Love & Hip Hop Star Benzino Shot By His Nephew Gai Scott At His Mother’s Funeral In Duxbury, MA

DUXBURY (CBS) — A family dispute exploded into gunfire Saturday during a funeral procession on Route 3 in Duxbury.

The shooting just before noon shut down the southbound side of Route 3 until 4:15 Saturday afternoon.

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office reported that Gai Scott, 36, of Randolph was arrested for assault with intent to murder his uncle, Raymond Scott, 48, of Mansfield.
According to the DA’s office, there has been growing family tension between Raymond Scott and Gai Scott.
Investigators said the funeral procession for a Scott family member was traveling southbound on Route 3 headed to a church in Plymouth when the shooting took place.

At some point, when Gai Scott and Raymond Scott’s cars were side by side, Gai Scott allegedly fired several shots from his Bentley into the red Dodge SUV being driven by Raymond Scott, hitting his uncle.

Officials said Raymond Scott got out of the SUV and was driven to the Duxbury Police Department by a passer-by. He was then taken to South Shore Hospital for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.

After the shooting, a silver hearse and a silver limousine were covered in plastic and wrapped in state police crime scene tape near the Church of St. Peter.

Because the hearse was part of a crime scene, a new hearse had to be brought in for the procession from the church to the cemetery.

Gai Scott will be arraigned Monday in Plymouth District Court.

Officials said state police will continue to investigate the shooting but released no further information.

kfw We can hardly prdoive truly equalized acquired education for all sexes and genders. For strictly speaking, education that one acquires throughout one’s life which affect one’s performance in certain domain, say, mathematics includes not only school education, but also social expectations, family upbringing. And the effects of the latter can easily breach the seemingly equalized school education, not to mention that whether there is any truly equalized school education system is still a controversial issue.
