A deadly new drug that eats it’s users flesh from the inside out has made it’s way from Russia to the United States. The drug Krokodil was given the name because it’s users develop scale-like skin.
The first two cases have been reported in Arizona.
“We’ve had 2 cases this past week that have occurred in Arizona,” Dr. Frank Lovecchio, of the Banner Poison Control Center, told Arizona’s CBS 5. “As far as I know this is the first cases in the United States that are reported. We’re extremely frightened. When [users] do it repeatedly the skin sloughs. It causes hardening of their skin, much like a crocodile’s skin. It’s a good way to kill your skin.”
