jay-z not on def jam he bought the album out fool, and that buckshot krs-1 s**t is wack as f**k and that record he has wit that lightskin dude talkin about the rent wack as f**k to, i respect him for being a pioneer and i dont like a lot of s**t in hop hop as far as that jerking type s**t but krs did not adapt wit hip hop on all his records he talkin about what artists need to do or what s**t USED to be, nobody wanna say nothin to him cuz they dont wanna be disrespectful but reason they aint playin his s**t is because it aint hot no more on some real s**t, and slaughterhouse and them have cult followings and respect BUT nobody went out and bought they album so from a financial standpoint they not doin s**t for the radio station playin they records because financially they aint doin nothin as a unit, they s**t goes HARD but thats the way the game goes dont complain adapt

He Does Have a Point, but if it was for his theory Hip-Hop would’ve never evolved cuz i know for a fact he would had kept doing the same music he was doing then. not that i would be complaining but that would had made hiphop die years ago. just like New Jack Swing is dead, just like the boy band era is dead. and that is because they didn’t want to evolve, and thats why Def Jam is a gift to the culture because we are still here today.

ok ok this is good convo lets be real Def jam was a CRAZY LABEL everyone wanted to be on it. S**t I remember when the Wu had their deal and they decided to do the spilt like Voltron thing meth went on def jam they grab him because he was the most marketable and also had a hot buzz. They also had some bullshit like the Flatlinerz Nikki D u know wha t daddy little girls was ill so I take it back. but anyway Defjam was always about money except for P.E. and look they kick Professor Griff. Ok think about this for a second .. Griff got kick out because of racial slurs towards Jews but “N***a” is said on most def jam albums! People fell to realize hiphop didnt die. People just stop listening to music that made the think it all went sour when Jay said about Nas “what you trying to kick Knowledge” but here he is on Oprah! There has to be a balance you need both Rae album is a classic I like it better then Blue print 3 but its simple come that hater song song SUCKS but theres people who would be like your a hater but that s**t sounds like a f**k up auto tunes . Rae album has some moment like that but his s**t is vivid anyway I went in about this one because this is the reality that hiphop has become Pay 2 PLay

  5. Ray Says:

That s**t is so true K, Raekwon s**t was hot as well and I haven’t heard a track on the radio yet!
